Troy Reese

As a Kingsbarn First Vice President, Troy Reese brings a wealth of experience in real estate investment sales, specializing in Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs) and 1031 exchange strategies. With a background in brokerage, he is dedicated to helping clients transition out of active property management and into passive income opportunities while deferring capital gains taxes.
Troy spent seven years at Marcus & Millichap, where he developed deep expertise in real estate investments and guided clients in building generational wealth. Due to his high standard of performance, he was honored with Marcus & Millichap’s Pace Setter Award, recognizing his success as a top-performing agent. His firsthand experience in brokerage showed him the power of DSTs as a solution for investors seeking stable, cash-flowing investments without the burdens of direct property management.

A former football player at the University of San Diego, Troy earned a degree in Real Estate and Business Administration. The discipline and work ethic he developed as a student-athlete continue to drive his approach to client service, ensuring that each investor receives the highest level of professionalism, guidance, and care.

Outside of work, Troy enjoys staying active through exercise, such as hiking, going to the gym, and snowboarding. He also loves spending time with his family and traveling to new destinations.
